A group of journalists from the Pacific are in Nadi Fiji attending a training ahead of the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) meeting next week.
The journalists are from Fiji, Palau, PNG, Solomon Islands and Tonga.
They will be providing coverage for their local audiences and the training is aimed at helping them understand better the issues surrounding the tuna fisheries in the Pacific.
This training is being made possible with assistance from PACMAS and the Honiara-based Forum Fisheries Agency.
